The Project Graduation organization, together with McCallum PTSA hosted 'CRASH' in the school cafeteria on April 8, 2014.
'CRASH' is a comprehensive media campaign provided free of charge by Texas PTA. It is designed to reveal the truth and dangers of distracted driving associated with DWI, cell phone use, texting, fatigue, and many other factors. This teen focused program begins with a compelling documentary; following the journeys of real families coping with the impact of poor driving decisions.
The campaign also includes basic information about the Graduated Driver’s License and its effectiveness in reducing teen crashes as well as underlining the various reasons that young drivers are so at risk of having a crash. This program was made possible through a grant from State Farm Insurance.
